Editorial policy
Lasting Living Journal aims to make considered choices easier to think about, not to prescribe one correct life. We write plainly, make claims carefully and tell readers when material has a commercial connection.
Accuracy and clarity
We take care to check factual statements against suitable information before publication and to separate established facts, interpretation and opinion. We avoid overstating what a suggestion can do. When a subject depends on personal circumstances or local requirements, we say so rather than presenting a general answer as universal.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage, a particular conclusion or publication. We do not present an advertisement as independent editorial work.
Corrections
If you notice a material error or unclear claim, please contact us with the page and the issue you have found. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted, making significant corrections clear to readers.
Paid and partner material
Sponsored articles, paid placements and other partner material are labelled so readers can recognise the relationship. Partner links and placements are kept distinct from ordinary editorial recommendations; inclusion does not mean endorsement.
A life need not be perfectly arranged to be well considered.
Lasting choices are rarely grand gestures. We look at the small ways values meet daily life, without treating one person’s answer as a rule for everyone.
